About this website
TheBookBlurbs is a book discovery and author visibility platform. We publish catalogue records, editorial lists, author profiles, reader feedback and Reading Challenge information. Using the site means you accept these terms.
No visitor accounts
There is no visitor sign up or log in on TheBookBlurbs. Everything on the public site can be read without an account. Administrative access is restricted to authorized members of the TheBookBlurbs team.
Books are added by administrators
Only authorized administrators add, edit or publish catalogue records. Authors and representatives may contact the team to have a book considered. Contacting us is a request, not an agreement, and inclusion is at our discretion.
Reading Challenge participation
The 2026 Reading Challenge concludes on December 31, 2026. The next challenge commences in January 2027, with its launch and submissions to be confirmed. Previous challenge records remain available. Reading along and browsing the selections costs nothing. Author participation in the Challenge is not free, and the applicable participation option and terms are confirmed in writing by our team before anything proceeds.
No guaranteed results
Participation offers visibility and the opportunity to be discovered. It does not guarantee sales, reviews, ratings, rankings, bestseller status, media coverage or any specific number of readers, and nothing on this site should be read as such a promise.
Certificates
Certificates are issued by TheBookBlurbs administration team and are signed Cindy Vaneen, Founder, TheBookBlurbs. Each carries a reference number. A certificate records participation only. It is not an award, an endorsement of sales performance, or a rating of the book.
Reader reviews and feedback
Reviews and reader feedback are published as supplied, with the reviewer name, text, rating, date and genre. We do not write reviews on behalf of readers, and we do not invent feedback. We may decline to publish, or remove, anything abusive, unlawful or misleading.
Contact form use
The contact form is for genuine enquiries. Do not use it for spam, bulk messaging, harassment, or anything unlawful. We reply by email to the address you give us.
Your reading list
The reading list is stored in your own browser. We do not back it up or recover it. Clearing your browser data, switching device or using a different browser will lose it.
Intellectual property
Book covers, titles, descriptions and author names belong to their respective rights holders and appear here for discovery and editorial purposes. The TheBookBlurbs name, logo, certificate designs and editorial writing belong to TheBookBlurbs and may not be reused without permission.
Accuracy
We work from information supplied to us and take care to keep records correct, but we cannot guarantee that every catalogue detail, publication date or external link is complete or current. Tell us about a mistake and we will look at it.
External links
Links to retailers, author websites and other third party services are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or availability.
Liability
TheBookBlurbs is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
