Books Bring People Closer
TheBookBlurbs is a literary discovery platform for the moment you finish a book and want to know exactly what to read next, and for the authors hoping you find theirs.
TheBookBlurbs began with a simple frustration: wonderful books go unread, not because they are poor, but because nobody points a reader towards them at the right moment. We built a catalogue, curated lists, author profiles and an ongoing Reading Challenge to close that gap.
The platform works in two directions. Readers get an honest, browsable library organised by genre, mood and theme, with real reader feedback and no manufactured hype. Authors get a considered place to be found by people already looking for the kind of book they wrote.

Cindy Vaneen founded TheBookBlurbs to bring readers and books closer together, and to give authors a genuine route to being found.
She oversees the reading themes and the book selections that appear across TheBookBlurbs.

How we work
Room for authors readers have not met yet
A book does not have to be a household name to deserve a reader. We give newer and independent authors the same presentation as the familiar names on the shelf.
Nothing invented
Covers, descriptions, reviews, ratings and author details come from what is genuinely supplied to us. If we do not have it, we leave it out rather than filling the space.
Plain about what we offer
Visibility is an opportunity, never a promise. We do not claim sales, rankings or bestseller results on anyone's behalf.
