The administrators below help coordinate and support the TheBookBlurbs Reading Challenge and related book participation activities. Submissions, selections, reports and certificates all pass through the administration team.

Each of these is a human decision, recorded against the catalogue.
Reviewing submitted books
Every book sent to the challenge is read and assessed by an administrator before any decision is made.
Maintaining the catalogue
Administrators add, correct and merge book and author records so the same title never appears twice.
Selecting challenge books
Selections are matched to the current prompts on editorial grounds, not on payment or popularity.
Writing improvement reports
The written feedback authors receive is prepared by the administration team, not generated automatically.
Issuing certificates
Participation certificates are numbered, recorded and sent out by an administrator.
Answering authors and readers
Questions about participation, placement or records are handled through the contact page.

There is no author dashboard
Authors do not get a login or a self-serve submission panel. Book details, questions about a certificate and requests to correct a record all go to the administration team, who handle them directly and reply by email.
